Accused of turning around and running away from
wco's who were standing near gate of state game
lands, on a snowmobile, where you were not permitted
to ride until mid January. I had broken down miles
before the game lands and the rider in front of me
never looked back to see if I was there, other
riders caught up to him, lots of sleds out that
day.. the two guys I was riding with were caught at
the gate, and the second one said when asked who was
the sled that ran, said me, not knowing it wasn't
me. wardens had no numbers,. when it went to court,
which I pleaded not guilty,, wardens said they were
with 20 yards of sled and neither one could
identify the color, model, make or anything about the
sled that took off. I upset the magistrate because
of disbelief of the testimony of these two so called
professionals. and was found guilty.. attorney
advised me to pay fine which was cheaper than paying
him to take it to a judge, so I did, days before new
licenses came out, I received notice of license
revocation for 2 years.. wow. that's fair.. never had
a game law violation in my life..
